We are delighted to present Crown Workspace’s annual Sustainability Report capturing our achievements across 2023 on our responsible business journey. We have driven service innovation focused on sustainable outcomes, and made significant progress on our three-pillar sustainability strategy which we share with our other Crown UK&I brands.
In particular, we are pleased to introduce Circulate, our roadmap for putting the circular economy at the heart of the workplace, enabling a continuous cycle of workplace asset reuse supported by our experience, facilities and services.
We are incredibly proud of the work we do to reduce waste, achieve positive outcomes for our clients and deliver social value to the communities in which we work. In 2023, we donated over 5,700 items on behalf of our clients to a network of 700 charity partners across the UK&I. We were also able to refurbish and recondition 54,000 items of furniture, IT and AV in our Renew facilities, diverting a staggering 650 tonnes from waste.
Some other key highlights from the report include:
- £300,000 delivered in social value through Giving Back Project donations
- Local school transformed with 700 donated assets
- 19,700 items of furniture and equipment refurbished in our Renew Centre
- Hosted multiple events at our site to showcase the circular economy in action
Our three-pillar strategy which sits across our UK&I brands is focused on reducing our impact on our climate and environment, supporting our people and business and collaborating with our partners and community.
