UAE office move

 

One of our recent projects was assisting a global leader from the Consulting & Engineering business sector who was planning their relocation to dynamic new offices within Dubai.

There was a team of 140 employees to relocate.

The client had a strict deadline to adhere to, with only 2 days to pack and only the use of the service elevator between the hours of 8am onwards over two days (Friday and Saturday).

Our team understanding the scope, went to site to carry out a survey, ensuring everything was captured clearly. From the survey an accurate quote and project pan was submitted to the client.

Detailed planning with the client’s key stakeholders followed with Crown’s dedicated Account Manager submitting a clear project plan, fitting in with the tight timescale for the project. A phased relocation was proposed to minimise disruption.

 

Phase one of the project is now complete and included:

  • Packing 185 desks, chairs, and filing cabinets
  • Dismantling and packing of all desktop IT

Crown have catalogued the items and are safely storing them for 2 months whilst the new premises is finalised. Once the premises are ready for occupancy Crown will work on a schedule to reinstate the office furniture and equipment in the new space.

Phase 2 of the project is due to take place during Oct/Nov 2021 and as well as setting up the office furniture and IT it will also involve setting up executive and meeting room furniture.

Crown Workspace UAE, will ensure any excess furniture does not go to landfill, and will work with charities to donate suitable pieces and responsibly dispose of any unwanted pieces.
