Crown Workspace UK acquires Ellerker group

We are investing in our future with an expansion into newer markets and are excited to welcome the Ellerker group, one of Dublin’s leading office relocation companies into the Crown family.

This acquisition aligns with our growth ambitions for our Crown Workspace business in the UK and Ireland. It establishes a new base hub in another key market for our brand, allowing us to provide a full range of services for all our customers in Ireland, including dismantling furniture, crate hire, flexible storage solutions, and IT installation services.

We have an intimate connection with Ireland, as our Founder and Chairman, Jim Thompson can trace his roots back to the country. We are excited about the opportunities and the ambitions of many Irish businesses to increase their focus on sustainability and provide the right workspaces for their teams. As we move forward, we’ll be looking for ways to further grow and enhance our offering in Ireland and create jobs across our range of services.

Commenting on the acquisitionSteve Hardie, Regional Managing Director UK&I & Benelux, Crown Worldwide, said: “A lot of hard work has gone into making this deal a reality and we’re all excited to see what the future will now bring for Crown Workspace in Ireland. We’re fortunate to work with great partners in many regions and The Ellerker Group is no exception, bringing a new strength and knowledge to our team that will ensure we can give Irish businesses the support they most need.”

Ivan Ellerker, Owner and Managing Director of Ellerker Group commented on the new partnership, saying: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Crown Workspace, after working with Steve and the team for many years we have built a solid relationship. Joining forces will enable us to offer more services to our existing customers and Crown to have the expert knowledge of the Irish market. Our future and focus for growth will be in the area of sustainability and I anticipate expanding in this area.”
