Crown launches Renew Centre in Singapore
Crown Workspace has officially opened its first Renew Centre in Singapore, a facility dedicated to extending the life of office furniture and equipment through expert repair and refurbishment.
This marks the third Renew Centre in Crown’s global network, following successful operations in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. The launch reinforces Crown’s commitment to sustainability and supporting circular economy across regions.
As businesses across Asia increasingly adopt sustainable practices, the opening of this centre positions Crown at the forefront of environmentally responsible workplace solutions. This facility offers organizations an opportunity to reduce waste, cut costs, and meet their ESG goals by breathing new life into existing workplace assets.
The Renew Centre is equipped with the tools, technology, and skilled specialists to transform used office furniture into high-quality, functional pieces. Services include professional repair, upcycling, and sustainable disposal solutions, helping businesses to minimize their environmental impacts without compromising on quality or design.
Celebrating the opening of the centre, Managing Director for Singapore Luis Contreras stated, “Our Renew Centre in Singapore is more than just a workspace solution, it’s a commitment to sustainability and resource responsibility. By investing in reuse, we’re helping businesses reduce their carbon footprint while supporting a more circular economy across the region.”
Group ESG Director, Joy Lam added, “This is a vital step toward embedding circular practices into our core operations. By expanding our Renew Centre network to Asia, we’re not only supporting clients in meeting their sustainability goals, but we’re also actively reducing the environmental footprint of the entire office lifecycle.”
This strategic expansion highlights Crown Workspace’s global mission to lead with purpose, prioritising environmental stewardship and social impact. The Renew Centre also helps local businesses to align with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, reinforcing national goals around zero waste and sustainable development.
