Project at a Glance

Client: Leading financial institution in Malaysia

Scale: 3,000 employees

Office Footprint: Nine office floors

Project Scope: End-to-end move management and workplace relocation

Key Priorities: Business continuity, security and operational control

The Challenge

Moving a large corporate workplace is rarely straightforward. For this project, the complexity was increased by the scale of the organisation, strict security requirements and the need to coordinate sensitive documents, IT equipment and other business-critical assets.

The project also took place during the Covid-19 period, when access restrictions meant many employees could not be physically present to manage their own workplace belongings.

The client needed an experienced relocation partner capable of coordinating the entire programme while reducing disruption to day-to-day business operations.

Our Approach

Crown Workspace Malaysia developed a structured move programme covering planning, stakeholder coordination, packing, relocation, specialised asset handling and temporary storage.

Particular attention was given to the handling of sensitive business information and critical IT assets. Clear identification, inventory and movement processes were also used to help ensure items reached the correct destination.

By coordinating multiple relocation workstreams through a single team, Crown Workspace helped simplify the process for the client’s internal stakeholders.
