PROJECT OVERVIEW
Our client has a strong presence in the Philippines, and in light of positive business growth, Client has decided to further expand its presence locally by constructing a new office building.
Besides supporting the company’s continual growth in the Philippines, this new office building also serves to create a better place to work and a pleasant environment for customers to visit.
However, it’s definitely not an easy task to relocate a strong workforce of hundred over employees, even though it’s domestic relocation.
To make the relocation more challenging, client has requested Crown Workspace to complete the relocation and storage management of all company assets within 7 days before the move out date.
Working within such tight timeline, it is utmost importance to have a solid & comprehensive relocation approach, ensuring the project could be completed within the required timeframe. Client definitely needed an experienced and trusted partner to assist them.
THE PROJECT INCLUDES:
- Industrial packing, transporting, and staging of company assets
- Storage management (preparation of storage layout)
THE SOLUTION
Crown Workspace Philippines was selected by the Client after a competitive selection process and appointed to plan and manage the move & storage of company assets.
As the entire project has to be completed within 7 days from the day of appointment, the team at Crown Workspace Philippines dived into work immediately upon obtaining the appointment letter.
Despite the extremely tight timeline, the team managed to draw up a detail workplan for the Client within a day which captured all elements to be delivered including:
- Full door-to-door industrial packing, transporting, and staging of all company assets such as office furniture, storage cabinets, sofas, tables, AV equipment and all other IT equipment
- Mobilise industrial packing teams of 20 personnel for pre-packing at origin, and unpacking & positioning at destination which is a temporary warehouse build at the construction site of new office building
- Drafting of storage layout where all company assets will be temporarily stored and staged
- Provide PPEs for all crew and place hazard signal tools outside the building to ensure safety during loading and unloading outside the building premises
- Secure road permit and all necessary work orders from local authority as relocation was carried out at night to minimise impact on the internal operations
