Project Manager
Jeff is a Project Manager at Crown Workspace. He is a strong advocate of building long-lasting relationships with clients, and is consistently looking at ways to complete projects with sustainability at its heart.
Looking to refurbish their existing office, the client contacted Crown Workspace to provide a new design proposal that was strongly linked with the company’s brand image, with green and purple as the main colours.
Their office was extending on two units with two floors each, allowing for a total space of approx. 440 sqm that was supposed to accommodate around 15 employees. As aesthetical requirements, they asked for an industrial style office that incorporates the logo colours (green as main) and elements such as reclaimed wood, brick walls, metal lighting.
Challenges
The clients’ main challenge was their budget constraints, which kept the aesthetical aspects and office facilities limited. The company therefore decided to focus on customer designated areas (reception / boardroom) and break-out space.
Crown Workspace was invited by the client to provide a design & furniture proposal that aligned with company’s project brief and needs.
As part of process, Crown prepared the following:
- Design proposal which includes 2D CAD drawings, 3D visualisation, other information that shows the concept design
- Furniture Quote
- Labouring cost
Project requirements from the client:
- One customer reception for each unit (total of 2)
- Partition changes
- Kitchen refurbishments
- Furniture replacement
- Open spaces
- Pool table for breakout area
- Boardroom
After Crown Workspace provided the client with technical drawings, visualisation, and quotation, the client decided to order furniture from our Office Resale stock. Because of the budget issues and final project cost, the company couldn’t go forward with any refurbishment/construction services.
