University of Warwick – Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building (IBRB) Relocation

We were appointed to deliver the full removal and relocation programme for the University of Warwick’s new Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building (IBRB). This state-of-the-art facility brought together more than 300 biomedical researchers from the School of Life Sciences and Warwick Medical School, consolidating world-class research in neuroscience, microbiology and infection, cell biology, and disease modelling.

Enabling Carpet Tile Reuse on Tesco Head Office Refurbishment Project

In 2025, Crown Workspace completed a weekend refurbishment at Tesco’s head office at Shire Park, Welwyn Garden City. As part of the project Crown were keen to drive more circular economy focused outcomes and offered Tesco the opportunity to be involved in supporting this initiative, and they were happy to engage this service as it supporting their replacement of existing carpet tiles while avoiding landfill disposal and aligning with sustainability objectives.

UK Government Agency – Sustainable Clearance Solutions

A UK Government agency in Newcastle needed a sustainable clearance of its second‑floor workspace ahead of a move to The Lumen. With around 80 staff affected, they required an environmentally responsible removal of furniture and IT assets. Crown Workspace delivered a clearance focused on reuse, recycling, and donation, ensuring full compliance with government sustainability standards.

North West Local Authority

Overview A large local authority in the North West of England delivers essential public services across multiple communities. The organisation required a strategic office relocation to support modern working practices and operational efficiency. The project involved relocating staff and critical archives from an existing civic building to a new office location. The move supported a wider office redesign to create flexible, efficient workspaces. Approximately 600 employees were affected across multiple departments. The relocation also included approximately 3,000 linear metres of legal and HR records. Maintaining service continuity and minimising disruption were critical project requirements.

Driving Circular Transformation at King’s College London

King’s College London partnered with Crown Workspace, through its Crown Circulate service, to deliver a large-scale, sustainable office transformation as part of the university’s Campus Futures Project. This project demonstrates how data-driven planning, reuse, and collaboration can deliver real sustainability and cost savings in higher education estates management.

Keysight European Office Signage Rebrand

Keysight Technologies, a global leader in electronic measurement, partnered with Crown Workspace to rebrand ten newly acquired offices across Europe. Appointed by CBRE, we delivered consistent signage and vinyl branding in Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, and the Czech Republic. Despite evolving requirements and tight deadlines, our expert project management ensured a seamless, cost-effective rollout that enhanced wayfinding and supported Keysight’s workplace integration.

Office redecoration and refurbishment for The British Shop

We recently supported The British Shop, one of the UK’s leading providers of shipping to the fine art and antiques industry, by splitting their office onto two floors, allowing for a total space of roughly 317 m² to accommodate up to 33 employees and the necessary facilities.

Crown’s Renew Centre: Signage & Reorganisation

Crown Workspace’s Interiors department was invited to review the décor in the Renew Centre and the signage to bring it up to date and maximise showcasing the work carried out. Areas that needed major updates were the reception/entrance, workshops, upholstery, staff kitchen and toilets.
