Provision of storage services to a global network of professional firms

We recently provided a secure storage space for a multinational professional services network across their UK offices, more specifically located in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.

This business is one of the ‘big four’ accounting organisations, who have presence in 145 countries with over 236,000 employees.

All items were properly inventoried and recorded using a reliable storage operating system, and, to ensure accuracy of each furniture’s dimension, colour and category, a catalogue for each item was produced that matched the client’s records.

As part of Crown’s business-class storage services, the client was provided access to Crown’s unique online asset management system, where they can manage their assets cost-effectively and sustainably.

This user-friendly live portal enables clients to access the full inventory of their items in store, including photographs. This system enables the client full control of what is in storage and ensure they can easily retrieve items when needed.

In order to keep the client updated for their storage movements and usage, a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report, was produced each month, detailing the number of containers used and existing number of items they have in store.

Crown’s online ordering system makes it convenient, not just for the client, but for both the storage and operations team to allocate resources and fulfil what is required.

All last-minute requirements were addressed timely, ensuring that the project was delivered with accuracy and high quality.

We were able to provide a total of 24,000 sq. ft of storage space to date across all UK sites, that stores more than 10,000 items.
