Expanding Our Fleet & Supporting Road Safety Week

Road Safety Week & Our Fleet Commitment

We’re proud to align this fleet expansion with the timeline of Road Safety Week, organised by the charity Brake from 16–22 November 2025, whose theme for 2025 is “Safe vehicles save lives”.
As a business whose operations depend on road travel, we recognise that every journey matters – for our team, our clients and all the road-users we encounter.

Here’s how we’re responding:

  • Vehicle specification: By choosing Mercedes-Benz, we’re benefitting from advanced safety features and strong build quality — aligning with Brake’s emphasis that safe vehicles help prevent crashes and protect people inside and outside the vehicle.
  • Fleet maintenance & checks: Regular servicing and safety checks form part of our fleet operations — reflecting Brake’s guidance that safe vehicles must be roadworthy and well-maintained.
  • Driver awareness & training: We’re reinforcing safety culture among our drivers — from ensuring features like driver-assistance systems are used, to encouraging safe behaviours on every journey.
  • Visibility & support: During Road Safety Week, we’ll be raising awareness internally and externally about road-safety best practice, emphasising that workplace fleets have a responsibility to operate safely and sustainably.
  • Revised Fleet Policy: Crown Worldwide’ s new Fleet Policy sets the standards for safer and more responsible driving

Partnering for Success

Our National Fleet Manager, Lee Agus, shared:

“When I joined Crown a number of years ago, we already had a strong Mercedes presence in the fleet. The drivers are happy with the vehicles, and we know that they are reliable and well-built.  Of course, we did explore the marketplace before investing in the new fleet. However, we didn’t find another manufacturer that offered the specification we were looking for.
We’re very pleased with the service we received throughout, from the ordering process to the delivery of the vehicles. And, most importantly, they look fantastic!”

We’d like to extend our thanks to SAGA Truck & Van, and especially to their Truck Sales Executive, Steve Jenkins, and Van Sales Executive, Ali Tarkan, who worked closely with our team to tailor every vehicle to our operational needs. Their support has been first-class.

Looking Ahead

This collaboration reinforces our commitment to maintaining a modern, efficient and safe fleet that supports our mission to deliver outstanding workplace services for our clients.

As Road Safety Week reminds us: safe vehicles save lives, and at Crown Workspace, every journey, every vehicle, and every driver matters. We look forward to continuing our partnership with SAGA Truck & Van and Mercedes-Benz, and to embedding excellence in safety as well as performance into every aspect of our operations.
