Sustainable Office Clearances

Are you moving or changing your office and need to sustainably clear out redundant office furniture, IT and electrical equipment?

Our circular office clearances, part of our Circulate services, help you meet not only your business objectives, but also your sustainability targets. Putting the circular economy at the heart of your clearance, we ensure significant redundant assets are recirculated throughout and beyond your workplace, to benefit the organisation, society and the planet:

  • Circular coordination that combines our experience in move and change management and in delivering circular services, to coordinate a circular clearance and turn it from an aspiration to a reality
  • Audit and stock control services that help you manage existing furniture assets across the whole lifecycle, to enable reuse across their estates, reduce wastage and make financial savings
  • Resale of furniture, IT and electrical equipment through Office Resale and IT Resale to help you get the most out of unwanted assets through resale whilst prolonging their life, reducing waste and benefiting others
  • Relocation and reinstatement of furniture, IT and specialist equipment across your estate to enable reuse internally, with temporary storage and 24-hour retrieval to get items back into use
  • Donation of office furniture, IT and equipment through the Giving Back Project to ensure items that continue to have social value remain in use as long as possible, helping those in need and supporting local communities
  • Furniture remanufacturing and refurbishment, cleaning and repair services at the Renew Centre to help you make the most of existing furniture assets, returning them to as good as new condition and remanufacturing them to meet new working requirements
  • Secure data destruction with testing, reconfiguration and repair of IT through Renew IT to enable the safe and secure reuse of redundant items whilst ensuring clients meet legal requirements and address data security risks
  • Recycling and recovery to ensure responsible disposal of assets at their true end-of-life, reusing components where viable, maximising recycling and recovering non-recyclable waste wherever possible

Demonstrating your project savings

On completion of every Crown Workspace project, we provide our clients with a full and comprehensive client savings report outlining your project savings from reuse, resale and rebates, your donations and charities supported, and the carbon savings achieved by using our service.

Making a circular clearance simple: coordinating for circularity

Are you making a move or change that will create significant redundant assets? Whilst a circular clearance can support your sustainability goals as well as your business goals, we recognise that sometimes you just don’t have the time and resources to ensure this happens. Combining our experience in move and change management, and in delivering circular services, we offer a circular coordination service that enables you to reap the financial, environmental and social benefits of a circular clearance without the additional burden.

A dedicated Crown circular coordinator will oversee your clearance and be accountable for your sustainability as well as business outcomes. They will provide the interface between all parties – liaising between the teams directly involved in your clearance, and collaborating with our colleagues and partners to turn circularity from an aspiration to a reality. Responsible for the process from start to finish, they will provide a smooth, structured and seamless service that maximises and evidences the benefits for your business, your communities and our planet.
