Delivering a sustainable clearance
Nomura is an international financial services group with an integrated global network spanning over 30 countries.
Nomura required support with the clearance of a floor within their London building following the vacation of a tenant. This needed to be completed within a seven-day schedule to allow for the arrival of a new tenant. Nomura is a client of Crown Workspace, who acquired Premier Workplace Services in 2018.
We were awarded the contract for a sustainable clearance delivered with the expertise of our fully trained team. Re-use was prioritised at all times to ensure the best environmental and social outcomes.
Office clearance project management
We liaised directly with the client, carrying out multiple planning meetings with the property management and security teams to schedule and coordinate the project; as well as taking an audit of all items to be cleared.
A total of 605 staff positions were to be cleared within a seven-day period. Each workstation included a desk, power unit, chair, and pedestal. In addition to this were 217 cabinets, 118 meeting room chairs, and 41 meeting room tables.
Financial rebate for redundant items
We were able to offer Nomura over £5.5k in financial rebates for the resale of their redundant items. A full report was prepared by us to record the financial and environmental savings that were made during the clearance.
“Just wanted to pass our thanks to the team for completing the clearance for us. There were a few minor issues which were all easily overcome, and it went very smoothly from our side, so thank you to all”
