International insurance group successfully consolidate two offices into one

Supporting a move to agile working


Enstar is an international insurance group with two UK offices located in London and Guildford. To support a move to agile working for the London team, the relocation was required to consolidate 380 members of staff into a central London office.

Crown Workspace acquired Premier Workplace Services in 2018, who was awarded this contract to provide the relocation services; as well as deliver the sustainable furniture clearance from the vacating property in London.

Planning and organising an office move

Liaising directly with the client, our Move Manager attended weekly meetings with the Enstar team to put together a schedule and co-ordinate the move plan. As the client was moving to a new property, it gave us the opportunity to keep disruption to a minimum, moving some of the filing prior to the staff move. Our IT specialists were able to pre-install some of the IT equipment and carry out the decommission and recommission of the desktop equipment.

Sustainable furniture clearance

We provided the sustainable furniture clearance, reselling as many items as possible and donating those that couldn’t be. This meant a financial rebate was returned to Enstar as part of this project.

The move was carried out smoothly and delivered within the time-scale.
