We’re delighted to have supported Kennet School through Crown Workspace’s Giving Back Project, helping to revitalise key social and study spaces within the Sixth Form.
The project highlights our commitment to circularity and social impact, enabling clients to ‘Give Back’ as part of their sustainable clearances, by facilitating donations of furniture, IT, and equipment to our network of over 900 charities and schools.
With the generous donations from one of our clients, 38 pieces of high-quality furniture were given a second life, transforming the Nourish Café and Sixth Form common room, creating more welcoming, functional environments where students can learn, collaborate, and relax.
Through the Giving Back Project, we delivered and installed a range of furniture across both spaces, including seating and tables designed to support group work, informal study and social interaction.
Furniture donated included:
- 16 high stools and chairs
- 10 horseshoe benches
- 6 tables
- 2 single booths
- 2 swivel chairs
- 1 laptop table
- 1 low stool
The Impact
The new furniture has already made a noticeable difference in how students use the spaces, supporting everything from group study sessions to downtime between lessons.

Staff at Kennet School have also highlighted how quickly the new spaces have been embraced by the students:
