Sustainability Advisor

Ellie is our Sustainability Advisor and has been with the organisation for just over three years. She has led on a number of varied projects from waste and reuse innovation, climate training and procurement, to social value and community impact strategies.

Responsible business principles are at the core of Crown UKI’s growth and development and these are built upon a three-pillar strategy that covers our climate and environment, our business and our people and our partners and community.

By embedding these principles into our business operations and making these a priority for the business and our team we have taken great strides and are proud of the achievements captured in this report  – including  reduction of Scope 1 and 2 impact by 52% since 2019, achieving a Gold rating by EcoVadis putting us in the top 5% of reporting companies and inspiring 78% of our employees to recommend Crown a great place to work.

“Paving the way with the circular economy for over 13 years has helped Crown’s clients bring circular economy thinking to their everyday workplace changes.  Crown Circulate reflects this long-term agenda and we have achieved some impressive positive impacts this year, as captured in this report. From our continued investment in training, facilities, electric fleet and carbon neutral moves offering, I am extremely proud with what our team has achieved this year, and as the leading sustainable workplace change provider, we will continue to drive forward this circular agenda in 2024.” – Phil Oram
