Sustainability report shows huge progress in 2024

We are pleased to share our latest sustainability report highlighting the progress we have made in embedding Crown Circulate and our three-pillar responsible business strategy across Crown Workspace.

Our highlights include:

  • Embedding Crown Circulate across our service offering including our new asset lifecycle tool LENS and winning the Green Apple International Gold Award for Sustainable Development for our achievements
  • Supporting three APAC regions to establish Renew Centres to refurbish workspace furniture
  • Achieving a 54.5% reduction in our Scope 1 and 2 emissions across all our UKI brands since 2019 and reporting for the first time on relevant Scope 3 categories

In 2024, we helped clients circulate their assets throughout and beyond their workplace with Crown Circulate by:

  • Refurbishing over 8,800 items of furniture in the Renew Centre
  • Processing over 18,200 IT and AV assets through Renew IT
  • Redistributing more than 11,000 items for clients internally
  • Donating over 6,100 items through the Giving Back Project

Phil Oram, Regional Director, Crown Workspace UK&I says:

“I remain proud of the innovation and social impact that Crown Workspace delivers as part of our workplace change services. Our new ‘Reevaluate’ process delivered by our LENS online tool, tracked over 10,000 client items, helping them better manage the lifecycle of these assets. It is leadership in embedding circular economy practices through Circulate that helped Crown Workspace win the Green Apple International Gold Award for Sustainable Development in 2024. We have more to achieve in 2025 and look forward to collaborating with our client to achieve positive impacts.”
